Billericay Town FC Women are pleased to announce the appointment of our new 1st Team Manager, Josh Oatham.

Having Josh onboard is a significant step given his experience managing Gillingham, Chatham and coaching at Charlton at our current level. He was also assistant coach at Charlton in the Championship last season. Josh has a wealth of relevant experience and importantly, the knowledge and contacts, to add the right players to the current squad.

Chairman of the section, Greg Lake said, ‘Once we knew that we had a vacancy, Kim and I drew up a shortlist and Josh was our number one target. On speaking to him about the project that we have underway at Billericay, it became clear that we shared the same ambition, drive, values, and vision. Our goal of reaching the Championship remains but we will do that in a way that means that we are ready for the leap and are able to stay there. With that in mind, we have shaken hands on a 3-year plan, and we are excited for Josh to lead us through that period.
